She’s stuck and she needs my help!

April 8, 2010

This is a story from my friend Kelly’s blog:

Yesterday, was a beautiful sunny day.  We went to the Lanes for Bible study and because it was so nice, we decided to sit outside.  While in the middle of the study, Sara came running by with a Rubbermaid step stool in her hands saying something about her friend Abigail being stuck.  Abby’s mother and I looked at each other and I said I would go see what was going on.

Now, Abigail is the youngest of 4 and Sara the youngest of 3 and when you put the two of them together, you never know what will happen.  Well, I walked around to the other side of the house to find Sara being such a precious friend, trying to save the day because Abby was hanging on the outside of the first floor bathroom window and could not get down.  Sara was trying to direct Abby so that her feet would hit the stool but there was a good 12-16 inches between Abby’s feet and the stool.  After helping her down and telling both the girls that climbing out the bathroom window was NOT a good idea, they went on their way to find more adventure.
