December 17, 2014

Here’s my second card for PTI’s MIM #193:

I used PTI’s “Happy Heart” stamp set to make the background for this card.

As the wife of a military member, I think I should have many opportunities to give this card away. 🙂

December 2014 001editedI am so thankful for America!

I am also thankful for my Scottish mother, who has always hung out “Old Glory” and loves the U.S.A.. She still misses her beloved Scotland, but has called Maine home for over 40 years. She is an incredibly talented, fun and beautiful woman and I am so blessed to be able to call her “Mum”.

I shared a slightly different version of this card over on Flickr. It has red, white (instead of silver) and blue hearts. I also changed the sentiment strip a bit. If you’d like, please check it out here!

Thanks for stopping by!

XO

Melissa

P.S. My parents met in my mother’s home town of Dunoon, Scotland while my dad was in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a photographer on the submarine tender USS Simon Lake. My father is an incredibly talented artist. If you would like to enjoy some BEAUTIFUL ARTWORK please check out his website!
