1. Finance Poet: A Black Friday Haiku Story.

2.Chris and I support several mission organizations, but I especially like supporting Gospel for Asia. We support Gospel for Asia because in our busy lives, it is easy to be so preoccupied that we lose our eternal perspective. The primary aim of Gospel for Asia’s ministry is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with those who have never before heard His name.

I especially like that Gospel for Asia sends 100 percent of the money you donate for work on the mission field to the field and that nothing is taken out for administrative expenses. I also like Gospel for Asia because they train and send national missionaries because they have proven extremely effective. These people are familiar with the language and culture, and they live at the level of the people they serve, which removes many social barriers.

I like how Gospel for Asia’s Compassion Services brings Christ’s love to the suffering and needy in very practical ways. GFA-supported missionaries and volunteers assist survivors of natural disasters by providing food, water, medical care, clothing and even shelter. Teams also minister to slum dwellers and leprosy patients in some of Asia’s major cities. I love how all is done with a clear Gospel witness; Jesus is our only true hope.
