Make It Monday #192, Card #2
A quick post with another card for PTI’s Make it Monday #192.
This time I used PTI’s “Joy” die and a large star stamp from the “Silent Night” stamp set for the front of my card:
I experimented with the tab closure, using a circle die cut to make a hole for the “o” in Joy to nestle in.
On the inside, I used a sentiment from PTI’s “Silent Night” Stamp Set.
This challenge has inspired a lot of card ideas for me.
I wish I had had time to make a few more before the challenge deadline, but I’m looking forward to Make It Monday #193. 🙂
XO Melissa
P.S. I’ve had most of the parts of this card sitting around waiting for me to assemble it for 4 or 5 days, but just got to it last night. Besides it being a busy time of year, we had a family pet die last weekend and that turned my house upside down all last week. I got behind on a lot of chores around here as I helped my children to nurse our little 2 year old bunny, Honey, in her last days. We’ve all been very sad.
Here’s Honey when she was about 2 months old:She was a sweet little girl and we miss her.
Focusing my heart on true Joy has helped me to have hope in the midst of sorrow and be able to encourage my children in this sad time. When you are sad, I hope that you will put your sorrows in the hands of the One Who is able to offer you Hope.
Jesus.
P.P.S. We had a much needed fun, and busy, weekend here. Lots of errands, got a Christmas Tree, shopping, oil changed in my van, and we rode the train to a nice Christmas Market In Esslingen. It was a good weekend.

I am VERY proud of my beautiful bride. Her last card was featured on the Facebook page of Papertrey Ink. I’m looking forward to being a Kept Man when she goes Pro!
Thanks, My Love! ❤ I miss you.
